Hi, Is it possibel to remove "Microsoft Access", from the dialogue boxes that come up, also, how would you go about giving a database to a user but not allow them to make any changes to the database, but just add data, and print reports and run queries.

Many Thanks

Hello:

You can set your title in the StartUp options on the menu. Also you can use VBA code to do this for your message boxes such as:

MsgBox "This is a test", , "My Title"

Also the database can be opened as "Read Only" as well

Regards
Mark

If the database is opened in read only, can the users still enter data into it. ??

Many Thanks

Hello:

There are more like this on the internet, but as stated above if you want real security, make your database an MDE file. Be sure to keep an original because the process is not reversible.

Mark

Many Thanks
