remove shipping 1

can i remove the shipping option altogether...i use the cart for donations only, so there is nothing to ship...right now i've selected "Flat Rate" and added a method named "None" with an amount of $0...still i'm getting complaints from users that it's "confusing" since there is nothing to ship...

there must be a way i can either hide it or something...


any help?

I suggest that you use a web form to collect donation and payment information instead of Miva.

There are free scripts (cgi/perl and javascript) that perform simple CC validation.

If you require user account features such as login/logout, then that's a different story.

Miva forces you to configure shipping, payment, order fulfillment modules.

As a work-around, you can add a redirect (refresh) to the header of the "Order: Select Shipping/Payment Header:"
Redirect the page to a static HTML page containing a Web Form that collects credit card information.
Just include a hidden input field to satisfy the shipping method imposed by Miva.
