remove shipping weight

is there any way to remove the "Shipping Weight: 0.00 pounds" from the products? i'm using miva to set a class registration site and shipping weight just isn't applicable obviously. but i can't find anywhere to remove it.

If you are using straight mmui.mv, you can edit that file to remove it.

If you are using the OpenUI, there are some free modules available that will remove it.

how would i know which they have installed? i'm not to familiar with Miva. All that I know is that it is version 4.0.

do you recommend an mods that would do it?

i should probably note that this is being run in a shared hosting environment.

How to tell which user interface your Miva Merchant store uses:
Login to your store Admin
Expand Stores
Click on your store
On the right pane, click on Layout
See which one is selected.

KoolCat v1.x Look & Feel
Miva Merchant Look & Feel
So, is this the OpenUI or the MMUI?
I'm using version 4.14

If OpenUI is not a choice, then you have MMUI.

Unfortunately, you have the compiled version, which means editing the mmui.mv file is not an option for you.

You can either install OpenUI (it's cheap, and allows you access to a wider range of modules), or spend $$$ to get the compiler and limited source code kit.
