Hi,

Whenever I create a Multi select list box in report studio (8.3) I get a 'Select All' link at the bottom of this box as default. Is there a way of removing this?

It causes problems when the user tries to run a report with this option as there are too many parameters being passed to the SQL for it to run within a reasonable time...

Cheers

Thanks for the link preachie....

Seems to work like a dream, but have been told I'm not allowed to use any java script because it may not be forwards/backwards compatible.

Thanks anyway...

Maybe I was to quick in saying JavaScript is the only way.

I found another approach to 'remove' the both links.

In ReportStudio use the Page Explorer and click on 'Classes'. Or use the menu 'View' and select 'Classes' there.

In the 'Global Class Extensions' list scroll down to the class 'Prompt control hyperlink'. Within the properties for that class, set Visible to 'No'.

Afterwards the links are gone.

Keep in mind that this change will affect all prompt control hyperlinks within this report.

Cheers Preachie, problem solved... Have a star
