Hi all, quick question

I have two different XP home instances running on two different partitions but on the same HDD. I am now using the newer installed version on my D partition, How do i erase the windows files on the original C: partition to use as a data drive??
Any advice appreciated,
Mark

You can alter the boot.ini and remove the entry from the first Xp there. You can then remove the Windows folder in that partition and all folders associated.

However, be careful what you erase, as your secondary install is most likely using the C partition as a boot partition. So if you decide to format it, you won't be able to boot into your second windows install.
