Hello All,
I have a situation where I have about 10 XP client machines that I have to remove the read-only attribute from. More specifically what I would like to do run a script at boot up off of the DC that looks in these two directories and removes the attribute from all files if it is there.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

VPNing,
run a script at boot up off of the DC
If DC is refering to a Domain Controller, first you must have admin privilages to do this.

You need to set permissions to the Directory and select inherit for all files contained within. This will set the same permissions for all files in the Directory to that of the directory.
