Remove PRI, Add FALC - Meridian Option 11

Hello, for technical needs, I would like to know how to replace a PRI card into a FALC card.
I'm afraid of breaking the system.

Does anyone have the controls to do this?

The PRI is currently in slot 3.

So a FALC Card is new to me, had to Google it but it is some kind of analog line card. But regardless what you want to put in that slot the programming of the PRI card will have to be removed. That requires

Outing the trunks
Outing the route
Outing the D-Channel
Removing the DLOP in the CEQU
removing the clock controller programming

Is this PRI not in use?

Not a lot of work really but you do need to know the commands and what you are doing and it does have to be done in a particular order

Yes, it is an analog card.

Currently on the system, we have 2 PRI cards, one in slot 1, the other in 3.
The one in slot 3 is not used.

The idea is to replace the PRI with an analog.

Yep!. It's a analogue 16 port extension card. It's what we use in the UK.

Definitely can be done. You just have to out everything associated with that PRI first.
