Remove part of the string

Hi!
Will someone pleasse, help on simple task like removing 4 characters from left of the string? I am in Access Report field.

Where have you looked so far? Did you open a module and search Help on string functions?

Do you really want to remove the characters or simply display the characters from the 5th.

Check out the Mid() function.

I want to display from the 5th, you are correct.
I was checking Ltrim, Rtrim and Instr but I can only get 4 displayed and all I need to see gets cut.
Mid function? I had tried but my Access MS help has this pages removed. Thanks
