remove oracle installed options

I want remove the demo schemas from the database, I found I can run the script qs_drop to remove the queue sample, but when I run it I got error like:

ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel

all the queue can't be stopped. any idea why can't stop the queues?

asme thing happens when I try to drop user odm, my oracle version is 9.2 and I use the following command:


drop user odm cascade;

then I got message:

ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel

Have you upgraded to 9.2 and carried out the necessary post-upgrade steps?

We created this new database using oracle 9.2, and these features were installed by default.

what is the necessary post-upgrade steps? can you explain it a little bit to me? thanks
