Hello,
I'm relatively new to this ...I have chosen tools startup and disabled the full menus option....when i start my database the edit ,view, insert tabs are still there.I would like just to see fileand under it the print and close button...is this possible?

Thanks

Your best bet is to create your own menu bar and set the MenuBar property of the form to the menu bar you created. To create a menu bar, right click on a menu bar and select customize. Then select the button labeled "New...". It will ask you to enter the name of the new toolbar (menubar). Then select the button labeled "Properties" and for Type: select menubar. Close the Toolbar Properties window and select the Commands tab and then drag the items you want from the Commands area to your new menubar. Note the "New Menu" option at the bottom of this list.

roamer762,

In addition to FancyPrairie's excellent reply, you can also turn off the Main Menu bar by opening the Customize dialogue box, selecting the ToolBars tab, select the 'Menu Bar' by clicking once on it, click Properties - check 'Allow Showing/Hiding' - Close, and then unselect the checkbox next to 'Menu Bar'.
This will stop the File/Edit etc Menu Bar appearing at all.
On the Tools - StartUp, unselect all the Menu Options.
