I have a server that runs NAV corporate 10, which was installed from an old AV server.

The old machine doesn't exist any more. I now want to remove NAV from the running server, but it asks me for the password for the old server. When I enter the password, it just tells me the password is incorrect.

Any way to manually uninstall it?

SimonDavis,

I found this on Symantec website a while ago. I lets you uninstall without a password.

To remove Symantec Antivirus without using a password:
Use Regedt32 from a cmd prompt

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\INTEL\LANDesk\VirusProtect6\CurrentVersion\AdministratorOnly\Security

Change the value of key "useVPuninstallpassword" from 1 to 0

Good luck
