Remove media message stops back up completing 1

I have just installed a new DTS tape drive in my File server.
I kept the same job for the back up.
However, when I came in this morning to check the back up there was a pop up alert asking to respond OK to removing the media. Until I respond OK the back up does not complete, thus Fridays back up took 84 hours!
Does anyone know how to turn this respond message off. I need the back up to finish when the media is ejected.
(using Back up exec V7.3)

Any advice appreciated.

I've not checked yet. I have for the time being just changed the option to eject the tape after the back up as I always change the tape daily anyway.
