Remove Linux Boot Loader

How I Remove the Linux Boot Loader off a hard drive

I have A hard drive with Mandrake Linux 9.1 and I have Reformated the drive and the Linux boot loader so then I deleted all the partions and the Boot Loader is still there

How Do I fully Remove the boot Loader

With windows boot floppy and fdisk.
"fdisk /mbr"

I have now reinstalled Mandrake Linux 9.1 on to the hard drive and I boot I get

L99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99

Across the screen then Linux Boot Loader Comes up and every thing is ok then

does any one know Why this is happening and how to stop it
