Hi All.

I would like to delete couple items from Automatic Updates list in Windows XP. If it is possible. How it to do?

Thanks.

Right click update in "Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows Update\Select updates to install" and select hide.

Hi stduc.

I'm interesting how remove or delete some items(KB) from Automatic Updates list in Windows XP. I don't ask how disable or hide Windows update.

Thanks.

Control Panel/ Add - Remove Programs/ select the "Show Updates" check box and uninstall the required update which will populate the full list of installed programs.

Actually I forgot which forum I was in - my answer applies to Windows 7 - Doh!

Do you want to remove an item from the update list? i.e. not be asked again. Or remove an already installed update? I'm unclear. Either way you have the answer to both those questions from Linney.
