I have several orpahned contact folders in my global address list. The folders can not be opened and I do not know how to remove them. We have 6 contact folders in our global address list and only 2 of them will hold data. Is there an easy way to just remove these other folders from the global address list in exchange 5.5 or Outlook 2000? Thank you in advance for any help.

REMOVE FOLDER FROM GLOBAL ADDRESS LIST

I have the same issue, due to hardware failures I was forced to rebuild an exch 5.5 server and start a new IS, since then, I have 3 contact folders on GAL and also a mailbox from a bcakup server for restoring purposes, I have deleted the mailbox but it is still on my GAL. Any ideas would be appreciated. Also my GAL is showing org, site and location names, I would like it to only show the GAL, Contacts and PAB. Any help would be appreciated.
