Remove first three chars in text field. How?

I want to remove the first three characters in a text field but can't find any formulas to do that. Help. Thanks.

try using someting that does this

field - left(field,3)

the 3 will take the 3 left characters off of it.

Actually you want Right({field},length({field})-3) to get all except the first 3 characters Software Support for Macola, Crystal Reports and Goldmine
