Remove files older than

In our backup strategy, we have set up to remove files older than 8 days. However - old backup files ARE NOT deleted.

We also got this problem at one of our clients.

Are we doing something wrong?

Do you have the purge option based on date set in the job or maintenance plan?

Yes, they are checked, and set for 8 day(s).
