Hi All,

Hope you can help, one of our customers, nas been playing with the plus cd..

And have added compression agent to the PCs, they thought it would be a good idea to increase the size of the hard drive! :-(

So each time they boot up, compression agent reports, that it only runs on a drive space 3 compressed drive, do you want to convert now. Which is to be expected. We really need to remove this software from teh machine. There is nothing in add remove programs, or windows setup. So I guess its hidden away in the registry, do anyone know how this can be done???

Thanks in advance,
Paul

The compression agent runs from either the start up group in the start menu or the registry. The registry location has to be in one of the following registry entries:

hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run

hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\runservices

hkey_Current_User\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run

hkey_Current_User\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\runservices
