Remove Calculations by user classes

HI,
The help file - Step by step catalogs ,Chapter 15 says : For Shared catalogs , all user classes except creator cannot remove/change the calculations or conditions or folders.
I tried providing the user class with the access 'Edit folders' . After that the user class can remove / change the the calculations or conditions or folders.
I tried logging in with the user class in the administrator version only. Is this in some way connected to the versions.
Please let me know what the help file means by saying so?

Hi,

It's not real clear what you are trying to do or what the error is you are seeing. Is what you are trying to do setting a user class to be able to edit folders, but not be able to change catalog filters or calculations?

Is the error you are seeing that having set the user class to be able to edit folders, they can now change the catalog filters and calculations, even though the documentation suggests otherwise?
