Remove border for Yes/no field in Report 1

In Access 2000, I have a Yes/No field in a report.
I want to remove all the borders from the field so that the field is either displayed as nothing or a tick.
I have set the border style to transparent, but still the border is shown.
Can I do this, and if so how?

How about a work-around? When I set the font to WingDings2, this:

[tt]=IIf([chkCheck],"P","")[/tt]

Produces a check mark.
