Remove add printers icon from add printers window

Hi,

Does anyone know if it possible to remove the addprinters icon from inside the add printers window? I use a locked down environment where we give specific groups of users access to the printers folders to be able to manage documents. It appears this is being abused and I need to prevent people adding printers to the workstation. I've considered locking down the registry using permissions but the entire printing system hinges on using the con2prt tool to refresh the printers at each login so permissions would be needed to do this.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I don't know if you can remove the icon, but here is a registry hack to disallow adding printers from:
