Remove a footer from just one page

I have an 8 page document in Word 2000. I want the footer on only the first 7 pages, not the last one. Any ideas?

Disable the "Same as Last on the Header/Footer toolbar. You should be able to make this page different.

As I recall, before you 'Disable the "Same as Last on the Header/Footer toolbar', you need to make page 8 a new section.
