We added a company using Utilities -> add company, went thru the whole process, created database etc and all.
Now I want to remove this company, but do not see an option in Utilities to remove company. What's the best way to remove an unwanted company from GP? Thanks

Delete it directly from Great Plains and then delete the database from SQL using Enterpise Manager. In Great Plains go to Setup>System>Company, select the company you want to delete and select delete.

KLewis, is it really that simple? While adding it, it took me thru a lot of steps to add it. Please confirm this again. Thanks for your response.

I agree with klewis. :)

When you add it it has to create all the tables, stored procedures, etc. and give appropriate permissions to all the objects.

Deleting under Setup-System-Company removes references to the company in the various tables in the DYNAMICS database. Then you just delete the database from Enterprise manager to remove it out of SQL.
