Sometime ago I had a cable problem and moved a analog phone card to another slot. The card is working perfectly in the new slot but the system is still showing a card in the old slot with all TN´s UNEQ. I want PBX understand that there is nothing on that slot.

Thanks in advance.

out the TNs on the old location, that should free up the card

Hi,

What you could try is one of the following:

- Disable the card and see if it's still there
- In LD 10 try the following (Never tried it myself)

All you have to do is program the slot as an analog trunk. NO card is required in the slot to do this. Just program it as a COT or DID or TIE Etc for a trunk route that is already programed in the switch. After you prgram it, just out it and it will no longer think there is a card in the slot. I have done this many times. Go to LD 32 and stat the card and it will say UNEQUIP. After that go to LD 17 and add the DLOP under CEQU and continute to do the programing as you would normally. This will work on any Meridian Option switch.

All you are doing is tricking the switch and it really works. Just make sure the TNs for that slot are not programed for any type of phone. ie digital or analog

one234 your hint worked fine. I did exactly what you said and now the board was completely removed from system, it is showing CARD UNEQ. I would never discover that alone, on meridian´s doc it says:

CARDSLT Single-line telephone line card

Thank you all for the assistance.
