We have a Dell Poweredge server currently with Netware 4.1 installed on it. I want to remove the OS and be able to load Windows 2000 Server on the box. Any recommendations on the best way to perform this function so that the box will be ready to accept the new OS. Please advise I am Netware stupid.

Thanks

All you need to do is put the Windows 2000 CD in the drive, boot the computer from the CD and follow the directions. It will allow you to delete all of the current partitions and then create NTFS partitions and you'll be all set.

If this server is part of an NDS tree with multiple servers, you will have to remove the server from NDS first - if you don't, this can cause serious issues with your NDS.

If the server is a single server installation, you are free to install W2k as mentioned above.
