my desktop has 2 hard drives. first is a 10gb (original) the other is a 120 gb (added later). first is partitioned as 6+ and 3 (C & D). I'm running tight on C and would like to remove D and increase the size of C to 10 GB. Can I do this without buying another program or unloading, reformatting and starting over? The info on D is no longer usefull.

No. You need at the very least a 3rd party app like Partition Magic that can resize partitions.

Windows by itself cannot do it.

Unknown has caused an Unknown Error on Unknown and must be shutdown to prevent damage to Unknown.

Thanks for the information.
