Hi,

I'm working remotely on a access database (mdb) and I use a dummydatabse on my local pc to do my programming. The operational database is located on the server at the office and since i'm most of the time using my home office I find it time consuming to update the database. What i do no is download the operational database, perform the upgrades (i.e replacing existing forms/reports/queries and uploads the modified database to the server. Is there an easier way to do it?

Split the database into front-end & back-end using the database splitter tool. Also look at the Linked Tables Manager as you will need this as well.
THen all you do is 'upload' a new front-end to the office machine whenever you have changed it. Make sure that you have a version number or similar applied to the file so that you can be sure you are working on the correct file.
