When you try to remotely manage a Windows 2000-based computer from another Windows 2000-based computer, you may receive the following error message:
Computer \\computername.domain.com cannot be managed. The network path was not found.
(The preceding is from MS Knowledge base. Their cause of error was that File and Print sharing was disabled on the remote computer and solution was to enable it. That doesn't apply because it is enabled by default(Win2K pro) so it's already enabled. I can manage another computer in a peer to peer, Win2K Pro machines of course. In a domain however, I get the error message above. I am running Win2K Server in a single domain model. Cannot manage any computer accounts in the Directory.)
