Is there an easy way of changing the IP address of a BPS remotely? Is there a way to change both the IP address and default gateway at the same time; you can only change one at a time through the menu, so there's no (easy) way to reattach to the switch to change the other parameter.

Hi

What about saving a config file from another switch/BPS to a tftp server, with the desired IP address & gateway, and then using the menu load that config to your BPS?

I was able to get the the address changed by changing the BPS IP address first, changing the IP number of the PP8600 upstream of the BPS to match the new subnet, then using the Passport CLI Telnet command to telnet to the switch. Since the telnet access is coming from the same (new) subnet of the BPS, the default gateway wasn't required, and I was then able to change it on the BPS.
