Remotely administering Mail access control list's

Hi,

I have just moved into a devision that use's lotus notes domino R5, I have never worked on it before so am rather new to the product. My boss say's that you cannot Change or Edit mailbox access control list's remotley or from my own pc and that I would have to walk a block just to give a boss access to his P.A.'s mail. Is this true - if not how easy is this to do??

as long as you have access to her id file and can acces her mailfile you can amend her acl to give her boss access. Lamaar75@hotmail.com

Thanx mate, thats a great start, but I would also like know, when I create a new user is there anyway to make sure that my name is automatically given access to her id file ??
