At work we run win2k3 sbs. All of my clients are winxp except 2 and those are win2kpro. All of my users with the correct permissions are able to use remote web workplace and are able to get their email via this service once logging on. But neither of the win2kpro computers are visible in the list to connect to them remotely.

Do I need to install something on these clients in order for the server to recognize them or is it even possible? Thanks for all your help with this matter.

By the way, my company would rather not use a program such as vnc for remote desktop

Sorry - but Remote Desktop viewing requires the Remote Desktop feature which is only available in WinXP.

I guess this would be an opportunity to make lemonade and upgrade those 2 desktops to WinXp. It'll cost for the upgrades, but I would avoid VNC as well when RWW/Remote Desktop is available.

Thanks for your prompt response. I thought that was the case but wanted a second opinion.
