I have 5 remote sites with a mix of NT4 and W2K Pro client box's running over Cisco 2600 on T1's logging onto a NT4 SP6a Server. The remote sites are static assigned 192.168 addresses. I have a DHCP DNS and WIN servers at the main location.

I can log on from any of the remote machines to the domain and run all network applications and all security works.

However when I try and change a users password it works on the NT4 box's but not on any of the remote W2K box's.

I get an error " The system cannot change your password now because the domain xxxxxx is not available.

Remote W2K machines transplanted to the main location and assigned DHCP addresses will allow the PW change.

The network is not loaded down and the WINS server has the PDC listed as the 1C source.

All other authorizations are working just not the password change.
I have NETBIOS over TCP/IP turned on.
I am lost with this one.
Thank You in advance.
