I have a ACS 7.0 with Partner Messaging 1.0...Using only 2 lines.4 stations
My situation is this..
I have a agent who is on the road constantly and wants to retrive his messages remotely using his cell phone.

I set up one line in the ACS using #208[ line coverage ]
He wants only one line dedicated for his customers use only.
We are not using the Auto Attndt at all in the system.

The issue is this...In order to retrive his messages after calling in on his number, the dialing process to get to his messages is quite lenghtly.
He calls in ...VM greeting answers...He now dials... star 8..Then 777..then 18#...then password ..xxxxxx.
A total of 14 keystrokes on his cell...
Is there a better way ????...
No other person is in the office to transfer any calls.
Auto Attnd option is NOT a option.
I can probably shorten the Password number to just a # sign but it would still be 9 digits dialed after calling in...
Are we asking to much here??
Thanks

set up a speed dial on his cell to do it automatically

dial the number , wait, star8 77718# then password

that's how I access mine

How about dial the number , wait, star7, 18# then password#?

HyTech...YES..It works...I tried that the other day and it did not work..Don't know why, but thank You!!!
That helps a great deal...It will probably be acceptable to him..
Thanks Again...
