When Remote users dial in they are authenticated by the domain, but when they try to launch outlook, they are asked for a password, when they do they are allowed to see their e-mail, but it is annoying.
we reinstalled Exchange from Scrach this weekend

this was not happening last week.

In your outlook profile, properties, advance tab, make sure it is set to NT Password Authentication. If it is set to none you will get what you just discribe.

Thanks for the advise, I know that can be done on the users side and their client is using NT authentication,to log in to the domain and Exchange but they did not had to do this before this weekend, their has to be a setting on Exchange side, i.e in Exchange Administrator that allows users that are dialing in to be not asked for passwords twice, and use their current Authentication.
