I run an NT4.0 domain. Our remote users connect via SecurID to our parent company, then authenticate to our network for mail etc.
Clients are running Win2K Pro. When authenticated to SecurID, they press CTRL+ALT+DEL and try to change their password. After a moment, they get an error message that the domain is not available to change their password.
I tried hard-coding in one of my WINS/DNS servers into their SecurID connection, but that did not fix it.
Any suggestions? Right now their laptops have their old passwords saved in cache, then they have to enter their new passwords to open e-mail. It keeps locking out their network accounts.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
