Remote user can not log into Exchange server

I have a remote user trying to log into our exchange 2003 server. He is using Outlook 2007 on his pc at home. When he is asked for his id and password it fails. I have also tried logging in with OWA and no luck.

I have tried logging in with his id here in the main office with OWA and it still fails. I tried my OWA and it worked here in the main office. I have also changed his password.

OK fixed theproblem. After resetting the password I log this user here in the main office to activate his id and password.
