Need some advice on where to start with this: IP412 two PRI's. We have the need to be able to dial into our system from a cell phone and grab a trunk to make a call back out so that we can maipulate the caller ID for a call back number. We do have spare DID's and VM Pro, just not sure what the best and most seamless solution is.

Thanks for any help!

Send the DID/DDI to a VM module with a Pin check on a menu action that then has a ? added as DTMF then connect that to a transfer twith $key as the destination (or 9$key if you use 9 for external calls) :)

We give out several caller ID's depending on which department we are calling from, how/where do we specify what we want sent out since we will want to control that. We do it by user short codes sent to specific ARS tables for our normal users.

In that case say you have 4 departments have a menu that says "To send Sales number when calling press 1" etc connect 1 to the menu with $ and have have the transfer action go to 88$KEY which will match a system shortcode you create as follows:
Shortcode 88N
Feature Dial
Tel number Ns123456 (123456 being the ID to send)

Repeat this for each group but for group to use 87N etc, obviously the shortcode choice is dictated by local numbering and existing shortcodes so as not to clash :)
