Remote system on MSS

We removed a remote system from a MSS and added a new one. But the MSS still thinks it has the old system in it as it will let you speel by name and send to an old address in it. The MSS is reporting that it has no remote systems but you can still send a message to it. The new system that i have removed for now was not the same name or IP?
