I am looking for Remote Support Software that is easy to use, does not require any user action on the remote side, and can be used anywhere. IE. were ever family friends etc, can get the computer on the internet I would be able to support them.

I am looking for something cheap or free, open source if need be.

If I have to set up a server that is fine, I have one I can use

Any body have any suggestions?

Thank You

Kevin

If they have Windows Live Messenger you can use that to connect remotely to other computers with WLM.

Most of the solutions posted here will actually require some work on the client side (although to be fair logmein only requires a little bit though) or the addition of extra pay-a-price-per-PC 'professional' addon to the base product, given the scenario you asked about.

Microsoft's free, built-in Remote Assistance, which linney mentions, is really quite good.
