If your ethernet cards have a remote boot capable bios, there are some utilities that the manufacturer provides.

I have see this with diffrent brands, including 3Com and Intel's.

Luck! Life is good!, live it?

If you are going to boot up a PC through the network then you also need a NIC that will support "Wake-up on LAN" as well as some software. Software is only half the answer. Other companies may call this feature something else. It is a common feature in the newer NICs.

One commercial software package that works is Intel's LanDesk. We use this but we are not really happy with it. Half of our BSOD is caused by this software. Maybe some else can suggest a better software package. James P. Cottingham
