I am looking at connecting a remote site with Cable internet access (static IP) to our VPN concentrator which has a public address available.
Is there a router that can send the user name and password for this connection to the VPN concentrator.
AND on the wish list is to deny persons at the remote location internet access through the internet connection and to force all traffic through the VPN.
Hope I got it all in there. Thanks!

The router normally wouldn't use a username/password combo, but a single isakmp key. I think pretty much any router will work, just check for the IPSEC feature set. I'd suggest a small Pix, like the 501 or 506 for this.

Router or Pix, you control which traffic is routed through the VPN via access-lists. If the list includes all outbound traffic, then it's all routed to through the VPN and nothing goes straight to the Internet.

Configuring a PIX 501 now. Thanks for the insight
