We have a remote shelf that we would like to connect a maintenance terminal to so that we can interact with the cores that are at our other office. We think that this can be done but can't figure it out. Anybody have any suggestions?
You have to prgm a tty port in ld 17 and then conenct that physical port to the remote shelf. Depending whether it is fiber or carrier remote, you have a cable in the main switch that goes to the carrier/fiber equipment just for that purpose. Fiber ENET or carrier remote equipment in the network shelf. If Mini Carrier Remote it also have a cable assenbly for that
