Hey everyone,

I'm trying to connect remotely from one server to another through a bash script. Any ideas? Both servers run SSH. The one server is a mail server, and the other is a web server (apache 2). Well on the webserver I have squirrelmail installed. I want to create some custom web-scripts to access settings like editing the shadow file remotely from the webserver. Thanks!

It sounds like you'll be creating potential for some security holes, but if you're sure that's what you want to do, just set up the relevant users so that they can ssh to each other without prompting for passwords (there should be many HOWTO's out there) and then use ssh remotehost 'commands ...' in your scripts.

Annihilannic.
