Good Morning Tech-Tips,

I have a customer on a CICs call pilot that wants to have 12 remote sales people. The crux of the situation is that they only have 5 analog phone lines and cannot have a line tied up on the call to the remote sales person. I suggested the Link transfer but the sales people wont be in the directory in that config, which is not good for them.

Now they are open to entertaining the thought of a new system... finally. So my question is, would it be possible to transfer these calls out from the Auto Attendant to the sales people's cell phones without tying up a phone line? Also they want all sales people in the directory. No physical desk phones for any of the sales people.

I was thinking Release line trunking PRI but they're in a bad location so that's most likely not going to be economically feasible.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

If you're staying with analog lines, your choices are limited. IPO does not do link (hookflash) CO-based transfer via automated attendant very well - ESPECIALLY if you're using the embedded voicemail. If PRI isn't a player, maybe SIP trunks would be.
