Hi,

Can I remotely add something to the registry of another computer? IE, I am on client A and need to remotely update the registry on client B, can this be done?

Yes as long as you are using PCanywhere or Timbuktu, etc.

What OS are you running? With W2k you can open up regedit on your pc and under the "Registry" menu choose "Connect Network Registry". Type in the computer name you want to edit and if they have remote registry enabled you should be able to edit most registry keys.

What about using a logon script to run a registry key update? If you have WISE, you can set it up to check for the change and update if needed.

You could always use a vbscript logon script to update the key. It could also check if it has already been updated.
