I have 3 Linksys BEFSR41 routers, with the latest firmware 1.45.7. Ever so often they will lock up. The only way to get them to work again is the cycle power. These are all off site routers. Meaning I'd have to drive to them, or speak with someone at that site, and have them cycle the power. These people don't ever relize they are down for upto a day or more. And don't seem to care..but I do. Is there a way to watch connectivity, (internally) and send a reboot command to these routers???

I've not started this yet. But I'm thinking about try to run the form on the index page from a internal pc..any ideas..or anyone else have this problem??

I'm an idiot!!!

I was so sure they were just Routers..but you're right..they are the wireless routers!!
dang..what a waste of time.....

I'll try this firmware...thanks

Yeah, you may want to disable the "wireless" portion of the routing.

...so this is where the "open access points" come from...

PS firmware is only for V4 of the router, check carefully...
