Hello,

I would like to print on a network printer managed by a Windows 2000 server from
AIX 4.
I used "smit spooler, then Add a print queue, then Remote (print attached to remote),
then Standard" . Is this correct ?
Next, I was asked to put the name of the QUEUE on remote host and the Type of
spooler on remote server.
1) From windows the name of the printer is : \\severA\HP LaserJet 4350 PCL6
2) The type of spooler are : AIX V3 or 4, BSD, System V, AIX V2.
What to choose exactly ?

Thanks in advance for help

You can't print (at least not easily) to the UNC specified printer. You need to enable LPD on the Win2000 server, as described in this FAQ:
