I need to print from a DOS application on a remote printer. I have the printer setup with the right drivers but I am unsure how to capture the printer port or if that is even possible. Any help is graetly appreciated.
There is and you should be able. I have gone away from pc anywhere but I remember that if your printer is installed correctly it should show something like
pcanywhere port > your printer port or IP address. (something related to pcanywhere remote printer port)
Check all the ports available when installing printer. If you can find it, write back and I'll check for you. I've done it before but a while back.
