I am trying to print remotely from an RS/6K (F50, AIX 4.3.2) to a Minolta Di350 copier/printer which is on the network. It prints fine from the Win-NT Server.
I have added the queue as an HPJETDIRECT (PCL), as an IBMNETPRINTER (PCL) and also as OTHER. The IP address is 182.5.199.47. I can ping it and telnet to it.
The lpstat -pminolta either shows the printer ready or
running, but the jobs never print. I have to 'cancel' the print jobs to try other options.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

try this. but befor you make the queue cd into etc then vi the hosts file add the ip address. like this just incase you dont know how to work the vi.
cd /etc
vi hosts
used the shift -g it will bring you down to the bottom
move over to the last letter and hit I for insert
then move over one space hit enter then add your ip address
182.5.199.47 then tab over and put the name of the queue minolta
now hit esc

(if you are doing DNS...if just hosts not DNS.... hosts=local
