Remote printing Hang Up on SCO Unix Sys/V-3.2.4.2

I have configured several remote printers on the Unix Server. When doing the test it works well. The program i installed on the Win9X PC's is called AlphaLPD and the Terminal Emulator is AlphaCommunicator.

After a bulk printing during the day, the remote printing stopped. When i type rlpstat EpThd2 { EpThd2 } is the name of the remote printer, i obtain the following message;

EpThd1-208 salim 604
AlphaLPD printer "EpThd2" ready and accepting requests

which means that things are working fine, but still you will see that there is printout which is still in spooler nad not being printed. Even after re-starting the Win9X PC, the printout is kep in spooler.

What may possibly cause this problem ?

But when i re-boot the Unix server, all printing which are on spooler starts to print.

Is there anything wrong in my configuration somewhere ? I checked at the pcunix tips and followed all info given !

Can anybody help me please ?

Is lpd still running when the queue gets stuck?

hmm... why the 2 different printer names?
EpThd1 <==> EpThd2
The job that is being held is for printer 1 while you are querying printer 2.

Sorry for the EpThd1 and Epthd2. It was a typing mistake. Correct one should be EpThd2
